The AIPAD Photography Show offers an engaging dialogue across time and style with an array of captivating works. From Toni von Haken-Schrammen’s early Bauhaus photograms to Eva Stenram’s poetic and similarly elusive Drape (The Ravestijn Gallery, Amsterdam, Netherlands), the fair also features Kurt Markus’ cowboys from the American West and fashion muses (Obscura Gallery, Santa Fe, NM). Additionally, visitors can enjoy Anastasia Samoylova’s Breakfasts (Lawrence Miller Gallery, New Hope, PA), Marco Lanza’s vintage collage (Galerie SIT DOWN, Paris, France), Cartier Bresson’s iconic boy carrying bottles of wine down the street of Paris (Michael Hoppen Gallery, London, UK), as well as Rodrigo Valenzuela’s Weapons (Assembly, Houston, TX). The show tackles a variety of topics, including exuberant portraits, gender boundaries, issues of automation, and what is hidden and revealed from the viewer’s gaze.

One unique aspect of the AIPAD Photography Show is the opportunity it provides to engage with and purchase works from established photographers, as well as up-and-coming talents. The event spans the breadth of time and content, featuring exemplary 19th-century photographs to NFT and new media art. It is an excellent platform for emerging artists to showcase their work and gain exposure in the art world. For collectors, the show offers a chance to acquire pieces from some of the most sought-after photography galleries in the world.

As the 42nd edition in history and the 2nd edition after COVID-19, the 2023 AIPAD Photography Show promises to be an unforgettable event for anyone with an interest in photography and the arts. With its diverse range of galleries and artworks, it offers a unique opportunity to engage with the best and brightest in the field and experience the enduring power of photography as an art form.
